Privacy Policy
This policy explains how FolioResume handles account, resume, profile, portfolio, and visit data when you use the app.
Last updated: May 30, 2026
What We Collect
We collect the information you provide when you create an account, upload a resume, edit your profile, add a profile photo, and generate a public portfolio link.
Uploaded resumes may include personal details such as name, email, phone, location, education, experience, projects, certificates, skills, links, and other content present in the file.
How We Use Data
We use your data to parse resumes, create editable profile records, generate portfolio pages, support PDF/DOCX exports, and show saved resume history in your dashboard.
If you publish or share a portfolio link, anyone with that link may view the public portfolio content connected to that resume.
Portfolio Visits
FolioResume may store basic visit information for public portfolio links, such as total views, unique views, approximate location, referrer, user agent, and visit time. This is used to show portfolio visit analytics in your account.
Your Choices
You can edit profile details, replace uploaded profile images, delete saved resumes, and choose whether to share portfolio links. Deleting a resume removes the saved resume record from your account.
Security
We use authentication and application controls to protect account access. You should only upload resumes you are allowed to process and avoid sharing private portfolio links with people who should not see them.
